INBONIS RATING selected by Innovation Norway to support Green Industrial Transition

We are proud to announce that Inbonis Rating has been selected by Innovation Norway, the Norwegian state-owned agency responsible for fostering innovation and supporting the international expansion of Norwegian companies, to issue private credit ratings for industrial companies financed under the Green Industry Financing Fund (GIFF).

This program was launched to accelerate Norway’s green industrial transition. Under this mandate, Inbonis will issue private credit rating reports for medium-sized industrial companies (including industrial scale-ups and technology-intensive start-ups) with significant technological and financial risk profiles.

This process ensures analytical rigor, forward-looking risk assessment and high-quality independent credit analysis — essential when financing green industrial transformation.

This mandate reinforces Inbonis’ positioning as a European credit rating agency specialised in midcaps and industrial scale-ups, structured public financing schemes, blended finance environments, green and transition projects and high-risk innovation ecosystems

This collaboration demonstrates how independent credit analysis can strengthen public-private financing mechanisms in strategic sectors. It provides further evidence that structured credit assessment enhances transparency, improves capital allocation and strengthens industrial policy execution.

As Europe accelerates its green industrial agenda, independent credit intelligence becomes a key infrastructure layer.

We are honoured to contribute to Norway’s transition — and ready to support similar initiatives across Europe.

INBONIS Rating

INBONIS Rating is the first credit rating agency specialising in SMEs and mid-caps registered and supervised by the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA). In Europe, only rating agencies accredited by ESMA can issue ratings. This accreditation allows the agency to issue rating notes on SMEs and mid-caps in any sector within the European Union.
