Here at INBONIS Rating we want to serve as a bridge between companies and their business and financial partners. Our customers are SMEs and mid-caps from all across the European Union that want to be able to certify their creditworthiness or measure their level of sustainability, and financial institutions, investors, public institutions and large corporations that come to us for an expert and independent opinion for use in their risk decisions or simply to speed up their own processes.

Who do we work with?

SMEs and mid-caps

The credit ratings issued by INBONIS help SMEs and mid-caps to earn the confidence of asset managers, public institutions, insurers and large corporations. They can also help these companies improve their management by identifying strengths and weaknesses, facilitate the pursuit of corrective action to overcome any shortcomings and measure the progress made.

What do we do?

We issue independent and reliable ratings for companies with revenue of between €5 million and €500 million who want to prove their solvency to third parties and enhance their management by means of a rapid and affordable process.

Advantages

BANKS

Our ratings speed up decision-making processes as our ratings reports validate and structure information about SMEs that is often very fragmented. Moreover, because of our ECAI status, our ratings can be used in the calculation of regulatory capital.

What do we do

  • Company by company ratings in trade finance or complex transactions (syndicated loans, refinancings LBOs, etc.).
  • Subscription to official ratings database for regulatory capital calculations.
  • Portfolio credit risk measurement for securitizations and/or guarantee cost calculations.
Advantages

INVESTORS

Our customers include fund managers, institutional investors and financial advisors.

What do we do?

  • Credit ratings and ESG assessments for companies
  • Estimation of the credit quality and volatility of your portfolios.
  • Subscription packages for access to rated company reports (for opportunity identification purposes)
Advantages

PUBLIC SECTOR

The grant of public funds to private sector companies is increasingly conditional upon obtaining a credit rating. Public development banks, ministries, export credit agencies and other authorities use those ratings as an eligibility criterion. Credit ratings can also help public financiers to set loan prices and monitor credit performance throughout the life of their loans.

What do we do?

  • We issue credit ratings to companies applying for public financing or that need the state to guarantee their commercial exposures.
  • We analyse portfolios of SMEs that have already received loans from banks for public guarantee issuance purposes.
  • We follow the credit risk of customers via their credit ratings.
Advantages

LARGE CORPORATIONS

Some large corporations use our ratings to ensure the solvency of their suppliers or customers and to analyse the solvency of companies they are thinking about investing in. Many of these ratings are confidential.

What do we do?

  • Credit ratings for the assessment of customers, suppliers or possible acquisition targets.
  • ESG assessments of suppliers or customers
