“I consider the INBONIS report to be the basis for any funding strategy as it is simple, accessible and reveals areas of performance and progress””

Michel Dubois d'Enghien Founder de Venus for Bank

Hello Michel, can you introduce yourself and Venus for Bank?

In a few words, I am a speaker and an APM (Association for the Progress of Management) expert. My raison d’être is to offer a different vision of the world of banking and finance to SME managers. A vision that is both geopolitical and highly operational for everyone, drawn from my combined experience as a decision-maker in a bank, a financial director in an SME and the director of one of the European pioneers in negotiation.

In practice, these conferences are coupled with a consulting activity that can be found on my platform Venusforbank.com.

Venus is the landmark in the night, the shepherd’s star. Venus for Bank is a new landmark in all banking negotiations through an approach that is always very clear, simple and quick to implement. A real guide to preparing for negotiations, whatever the size and needs of the client.

Why did you enter into a partnership with INBONIS?
Because the world of banking and finance is gradually moving from relationships to algorithms. These algorithms, at the heart of our partners’ decision-making strategies, are opaque in a way that is contrary to economic dynamics. Banque de France ratings, internal bank ratings, information that managers hear, but whose scope is often misunderstood, since it goes far beyond the framework of financing to affect the value of companies.

INBONIS Rating is the only operator that finally opens up the rating process, in a climate of total transparency and constructive exchanges, within a timeframe of no more than a week. INBONIS is a major innovation that I had already tested with some of my clients. The partnership appeared to me as an obvious choice between operators who are committed to greater financial clarity.

“The watchword of Venus of Bank is to anticipate the reactions of banks in order to refine its own choices of debt model and partners. In this respect, INBONIS provides the essential insight for access to alternative financing, a booming model that managers must know about.”

What does the rating bring to your relationship and your consulting missions with your clients?
I consider the INBONIS report to be the basis of any financing strategy, as its report is simple, accessible and reveals areas of performance and progress.

Venus For Bank uses this approach to develop its consulting missions, including the contributions of the Harvard Negotiating Project applied to the banking world. The watchword is to anticipate the reactions of banks in order to refine one’s own choices of debt model and partners. In this respect, INBONIS provides essential information on access to alternative financing, a booming model that managers must know about.

How, from an operational point of view, will this partnership materialise?
I personally believe that this partnership will evolve, as our visions and actions are so intertwined. What are we doing at present? I include the INBONIS brick in all my consulting proposals, with great success. Very few of my clients have declined the external rating offer. In addition, we are going to hold joint conferences so that my insights can be relayed by even more operational aspects. Finally, I suggest that we can meet within a community of managers (a club) wishing to exchange and progress on the new aspects and players of alternative (non-bank) debt. Why? Because the future belongs to those who are ahead of the game.
